Playing with the "My World66"

A new mapping toy like "My World66" by World66.com allow you to generate/edit your own map(static). Also, you can put this map on your website/blog by pasting auto-generated html code. Alternatively, if you do nothave your own website, it offers you a peronal but public web site like mine. This is my try in my blog....



One of Distingushed methods mentioned in the Mapping Hacks is that the map is stored in GIF image and each pixel is assigned an index of a palette of colours, therefore when rendering the map the web site just changeing the colour of the palette entry.
